Assignment Resources

Approaching UDL

I have always been one to limit demonstrations and direct instruction as much as I can. I believe students should be doing, not watching me do. To that end, after a demo or guided practice, I post video tutorials, written tutorials, and/or finished examples for students to be able to continually reference throughout each unit. Often these will include additional materials if a student wants to explore further than the scope of the assignments. I find this allows students much more flexibility in forging ahead or lingering in skill development, as needed.

The following are resources were given for my Collections sample unit in Alternative Media.
